I didn't expect too much for a "battery powered" saw. Turns out I was
absolutely wrong. Cutting tree branches are no problem. It's
not very good at cutting a branch that is too thin(you don't need a
chainsaw in that situation anyway), but medium sized branchs are no
problem -- as long as the branch is not larger than the saw.
I even use it to cut 2x6. It takes only a few seconds to cut one 2x6. I
guess this proves what they say:"Even a starved camel is bigger than any
horse". Chainsaw is a Chainsaw! It's no kidding.
This cordless pole chain saw saved us from paying a professional hundreds of dollars to cut down a diseased tree. It was over 30 feet tall. We reached out of the second story window and was able to cut some branches. With a ladder we were able to cut the balance top branches. It saved our energy to cut the large branches and trunk with a hand saw. Without buying a regular chain saw, this was worth every penny. It will used in the future over and over again.
