I use these for cat litter
I clean out the cat's litter box every other day, and started feeling bad about using an awful lot of plastic bags that were going to be around for another fifty thousand years.

These are a touch on the small side - might not work well for multiple cats - but works just fine for me.

great and handy
very helpful when out and about to keep dirty diapers contained until we get home!

This kind of marketing is called GREENWASHING!
Those of you who are choosing this product because you think it's more eco-friendly, please do your research. NOTHING biodegrades in a landfill because landfills have no oxygen to let bacteria do the biodegrading. Various products, such as this one, get to call themselves "biodegradABLE" because in a laboratory environment you can make them decay/biodegrade. This has no real world application! You would do better for the environment and your pocket book to just use up old plastic grocery bags you have around the house already.

Parents, if you're looking for more environmentally friendly diapers, check out gDiapers - they're a cloth/disposable hybrid (and the disposable part is standard toilet flushable or compostable). I have been using them on my 17 month old since he was 8 days old and will never use any other diaper unless it's an emergency - they're great once you get used to them, and we use them as all-cloth at home (I don't trust myself with soiled cloth diapers out of the house, I forget to take them out of the diaper bag promptly). I came looking at this bag product thinking it might be compostable for putting the gDiapers absorbent pad in while out of the house so I could just chuck it into our bin when I remembered but this product is NOT for that kind of task.

Look for labels that say HOME COMPOSTABLE when you're looking for products that are end-of-product-life eco-friendly. Even if you don't compost at home, if your municipality collects lawn waste for commercial composting, you might be able to send the items there instead of into a landfill. Some areas even have curbside composting aka Green Bins (I saw it when visiting Toronto and am trying to get my town to do it too) and picking items that can go in those will help not just the planet, but your local soil quality. Don't buy products that try to make you feel good but do nothing, go for products that actually DO something. If the landfill is your only option in your current situation, at least try to find products that are gentler on the environment on the production end. If you can find this review, you can find the information you need - there are plenty of people waiting to help you find the information you need if you just take the time to seek it.

Great but unnecessary for newborn
Great bags and I love the scent (as well as the lack of diaper stink!), but after a few days of dutiful diaper bagging we finally figured out that it is completely unnecessary activity for a newborn. Unless our baby is very unusual, under normal circumstances the newborns seem to produce too many dirty diapers every day to have to resort to special air freshening or stink containing measures. For now we just roll the used diapers up, put them in regular garbage and bring it out at least once, if not twice, daily.

We are planning a long trip soon though and I look forward to using these bags in the car to avoid that dirty, stinky diaper smell. Phew! I'm sure the bags will also come very handy when our baby is a bit older.

also good for pet clean up
We have two 4-month old kittens and we clean the litterbox twice a day. These bags are great for that. Since we use 2 bags a day each pack lasts just over a month. I don't know what size diapers are but since you have to tie them up you can only fit so much in waste in there (think the size of 2 condensed soup cans). I'm sure when the cats are older we might have to use 4 bags a day. There are more cost-effective bags out there (or even just on Amazon) but I like that these bags are biodegradable.
